FAQ
What is FixMate?
FixMate is a cloud-based tool for managing property maintenance. FixMate Reporter is the web app for tenants, owners, and repairers, while FixMate Management is the admin software for managers. FixMate streamlines communication between all parties and makes dealing with maintenance issues fast and easy.
Do I need an account to report an issue?
To get the most out of FixMate, you’ll want to create an account. It’s completely free for tenants and allows you to track the status of your maintenance ticket, communicate with management, and keep a record of ticket details. While you can create a maintenance ticket without an account, you won’t be able to get access to it later.
How do I make a maintenance request?
- Using a QR code - scan the QR code posted in your property or unit, then fill out the details of the problem. When you submit the ticket, you’ll be prompted to log in or create an account so that you can follow your ticket’s status.
- You can also open FixMate Reporter and create a ticket by entering your address and other details there.
Who will see my ticket?
If your property is one of our FixMate registered properties, your landlord or management company will receive your maintenance ticket. The responsible person will handle the issue and you’ll be kept informed of the status of your request.
